When we choose organic food, we are letting the toxic chemical companies of the world know that we are no longer requiring their services. We are also letting the government know that we refuse to subsidize farming practices that cater to these huge corporate entities. Yes, our taxpayer dollars ultimately go toward destroying our soils and reducing our foods to negligable amounts of nutrition. Again, our future is at risk simply by making uninformed choices about what we are eating.
